Material Scheduler FMCG & Food Production Sector Skelmersdale £20,000 - £25,000 Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm 12 Month Fixed Term Contract I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Material Scheduler to join a market leading food and drinks manufacturer. They are seeking an experienced Materials Scheduler to manage the manufacturing requisitions, receipts and movement to ensure smooth operational performance. The candidate; Previous supply chain planning and scheduling experience is essential Knowledge of planning and customer service processes and systems A knowledge of MRP and business ERP systems with SAGE experience Numerically minded with a genuine enjoyment of excel and analysis Able to build positive working relationships within a team environment Experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment Food manufacturing experience highly desirable Excellent communicator Duties and Responsibilities; Manage the SAGE material schedule to deliver the manufacturing operational demands Oversee receipt, storage and movement of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures Prepare and coordinate schedules for managing materials to control the flow of goods in and out of the Manufacturing facility Manage the materials reservations to reflect the changing operational schedule to ensure operational continuity Coordinate priority deliveries Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance within the department Monitor planned raw material stock levels Set up of new products onto the system Resolving invoice queries with Accounts Department ensuring goods received match invoices Liaising with suppliers and offsite storage facility to ensure goods are on time and in full.
