Looking to develop and manage your own portfolio in a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester? Your new firm One of the largest independent firms of Chartered Accountants, which have an excellent reputation, are looking to appoint a recently qualified ACA / ACCA accountant to join their Audit & Accounts team in their Manchester office. The firm have achieved double digit growth for the past two years and have made a strategic decision to grow their audit & advisory offering and with this are looking to appoint a supervisor who can manage and develop a growing portfolio. Your new role As an Audit & Accounts Supervisor you will be responsible for leading on a range of audit and accounting assignments and take ownership of the client relationships alongside the partner. Your work will be weighted predominantly towards audit (70%) but you will also be responsible for the preparation and review of statutory accounts. Your client base will varied and include OMBs, limited companies, group structures, international businesses ranging in turnovers up to 150 million. You will be allocated a small portfolio to start, with the aim of growing and developing a full portfolio and recruiting your team within 12 - 18 months progressing to a manager. What you'll need to succeed The firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join the firm who has either trained within a Top 10 firm or an independent firm in a predominantly audit focused role. As an Audit & Accounts Supervisor you must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. As this role offers progression through to manager, the partners are seeking a driven and ambitious individual who can lead from the front.
