Join this Top 100 firm in audit working closely with CF Your new firm A leading independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors with offices based across the North West are looking to appoint a qualified accountant to join their growing corporate services team in Bolton as an Audit Established for over 30 years, with a team of 150, they work with a range of businesses, pride themselves on their partner-led approach and entrepreneurial ethos and work closely with their clients to help them achieve their ambitions and financial aspirations. Your new role As an audit and accounts senior you will be responsible for leading on a range of audit and accounts assignments with a focus on Growth & Entrepreneurial clients. The team work closely with the Corporate Finance department and alongside your day to day duties listed below you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to cashflow forecasting and due diligence. Your key audit duties will include planning the audit assignments, overseeing and reviewing the audit fieldwork, supervising an audit team out on site and taking a lead on the reporting and closing of the assignments. Other job duties will include the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, the preparation of corporation tax computations and from time to time there will be the opportunity to gain exposure to corporate finance work. This will be a client facing role and you will be a key point of contact for your clients, gaining a good level of autonomy. The large majority of clients are based within the North West and, therefore, there is limited travel involved with the audit assignments. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant but will also consider an audit senior that is qualified by experience. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of leading both statutory and non-statutory audit assignments and you will ideally have gained experience working within a general practice environment. As this is a client facing role, the firm are seeking a personable individual who will act as a key point of contact for the client base and have the ability to resolve and field queries with confidence and maintain an excellent level of client service.
