Your new firm A fast paced and modern accountancy firm based in Wilmslow are currently seeking a practice manager to join the firm. With this job opportunity you will report directly into senior management and manage a small team of staff. The firm have modern open plan offices in Wilmslow and are well recognised for their good levels of client service. The firm will consider a Practice Manager on either a 4 or 5 day working week. Your new role As a practice manager you will be responsible for managing a team of five staff ranging in experience and overseeing the firms portfolio of clients. The firm's client base mainly consists of online traders, small businesses, contractors and self employed individuals. You will be responsible for reviewing the work of junior staff, gain involvement in tax planning opportunities and liaising with your own set client list. Within the team you will have some studiers and therefore you will have elements of training and mentoring within your day to day role. The firm heavily utilise cloud based software so exposure to this is key. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has gained experience working within a fast paced accountancy firm and managing staff members. You will oversee a large portfolio of clients so time management is key and you must be able to demonstrate food organisational skills and the ability to delegate work effectively.
