Overview

Do you have a great attention to detail and excellent time management skills? Are you able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines? We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal based in Reading to join a dynamic, progressive and commercially driven business who are embarking on an exciting time in their development. As the Paralegal you will be responsible for commercial documents, ensuring that any risks and issues are identified. As the Paralegal you will manage contracts whilst working alongside other departments providing advice and guidance on legal issues. Key responsibilities: You will be primarily responsible for contract management, clause queries and documentation. Manage the contractual risk register/database by establishing contractual risks and potential risk mitigation's. Provide knowledge of how to update the customer contract database so that supplier contracts contain appropriate legal provisions Building strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally. You will be continuously identifying areas for improvement whilst working under your own initiative. Profile This role will ideally suit candidates who have strong organisational and administrative skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to deliver within tight deadlines. A background within the IT industry would be highly advantageous. As the Paralegal you will have had experience within a commercial or legal position. Ideally you will have experience of identifying and managing contractual and legal risks.
