You will be delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their hygiene, as well as ensuring they feel part of life in the home. You also will develop relationships with our residents’ relatives which will support you in understanding their needs more and developing that personal care. Show leadership qualities, and be willing to take ownership for the delivery of quality care. Our senior care assistants must hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care and have a legal right to work in the UK. It is essential to have the following: A minimum of 12mths experience of working in a health and social care setting Senior care/team leading experience Care Certificate or equivalent training covering care induction as defined by Skills for Care.
