Overview

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum. We are looking for a strong, driven, Registered Care Home Manager who is compassionate and dedicated to deliver outstanding quality care to the residents living at Castlebar Care Home , our 59 bedroomed care home in Sydenham, London. The Registered Care Home Manager role enables you to inspire teams and meet the resident’s physical, emotional and medical requirements every day. If you have the leadership skills and confidence to make safe clinical judgements along with excellent organisation and planning skills we would like to hear from you. We believe a simple thank you goes a long way Role You will have full clinical and commercial control of the home You will have a clear understanding of the varied and diverse multicultural needs of the Service Users, and to meet those needs through a non-discriminatory approach to Service delivery You will be well versed in care planning processes and familiar with clinical assessment tools. You will mentor and motivate colleagues You will champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement Requirements Strong managerial or supervisory experience NMC Pin preferable Comprehensive knowledge of budgets and maximising incomes. A proven track record in a care home environment. Ability to delegate, problem solve and prioritise workloads on a daily basis CQC recognised care management qualification - Level 5 or equivalent. Someone who is understanding and passionate about individual and person-centred care for older people.
