Overview
Senior Personal Injury (EL/PL) Solicitor West Yorkshire QED Legal have been instructed by a commercial full-service law firm who are looking for a senior Employers and Public Liability Solicitor to join their successful practice. The Role Based in new offices in Bradford this is a senior EL/PL Solicitor role where you will be involved in both Fee Earning and taking on a supervisory role within the team. Day to day you will: Be advising a key client on complex and high value defendant EL/PL matters Handle high value and complex EL/PL claims Be responsible for a team including supervisors and claims handlers Oversee and manage workloads within the team Deal with team appraisals and file reviews Undertake a supervisory role to the claims handling team, advising on liability and quantum Assist the Supervising Partner with departmental planning About you You should: Be an experienced defendant EL/PL Solicitor with 7 years PQE (approx.) Have experience of dealing with a complex high value caseload (in excess of £50k) of EL/PL files Have experience of managing a team Have managed a high-volume claims account Be confident in liaising with clients in face to face meetings and have experience key account management The firm may consider those with a particularly strong claimant background if you have a proven track record of dealing with high value and complex matters.
