Main Duties: Collect outstanding debt by telephone, letter & e-mail Deliver a customer focused and relationship building service that uses early intervention techniques to collect outstanding debt Actively manage accounts to improve collection of debt Review collated overdue debt on a daily basis Run weekly and monthly aged debt reports Proactively identify and monitor any disputes Account reconciliations on a monthly basis Some general office and ad-hoc finance tasks Person Specification: Excellent telephone manner, good communication & interpersonal skills Previous experience of working within a credit control position is essential Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is preferred however is not necessary A good level of computer skills The ability to work alone or as part of a team where needed Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to tight deadlines Salary/Hours/Benefits: £20,000 - £23,000 salary per annum depending on experience Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am – 5pm & an occasional Saturday morning 8:30am-12pm on a rota basis 28 days holidays including bank holidays (increasing to 33 days after 5 years' service) Auto-enrolment onto company paid health benefits scheme Attendance bonus scheme Retail & gym membership discounts Charity volunteering opportunities Full training plan Free onsite parking
