Overview

We are currently looking for experienced Pension Transfer Specialists for our client to assess and reach a conclusion on the suitability of advice in individual pension transfer cases in line with relevant product, procedural and regulatory requirements. This role is to conclude whether advice made met the required standards in terms of suitability and record keeping, working within a team of case handlers operating in an end to end remediation project. Location: Central London Start Date: End March 2020 Duration: 3 months with likelihood of extension Day Rate: £400 - £450 Depending on Experience [this role falls within IR35] Key Accountabilities: Reviewing pension transfer advice as previously conducted by in-scope firms Ensuring full compliance and to identify any instances of unsuitable advice Make decisions relating to each case as necessary Ensure all regulatory requirements are met in line with business standards Managing your own workload Ensure quality is embedded within the work and decisions are in line with review policy Ensure timesheet system and workflow records are kept accurate and up to date Required qualifications / experience Relevant Pension Transfer Specialist qualification -G60 / AF3 / AF7 A deep understanding of FCA rules and compliance requirements with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a FCA regulated environment Good planning and organisational skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively Ability to make considered decisions referring to point of advice documentation Highly self-motivated and results orientated, maintaining focus on quality Has detailed knowledge and experience of financial services pension transfer advice procedures In-depth knowledge of advice process for regulated financial services products Excellent written and verbal communications Interested ?
