We are looking for a smart and ambitious program manager to join Amazon's Global Pension Compliance team and join our Employee Investment Services team in London, UK. As a program manager, you will collaborate and partner with a team of pension professionals. You will work with Amazon's legal, tax, benefits, compensation, HR shared services, technology and operational teams to investigate, implement, administer and test the organization's global pension programs to ensure compliance obligations are met in the EMEA region. This hands-on individual contributor role will partner extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners to execute on all regulatory requirements and reporting for our International pension programs. Qualified candidates will need to have prior pension/retirement program management experience. This candidate will be responsible for implementing new strategies and mechanisms for program and project management to support our international retirement plans, define local roles/responsibilities with internal stakeholders and external partners, document operational processes and control requirements; implement business-level control mechanisms; develop and execute on program/business level risk and compliance, and manage program level reporting metrics. The ideal candidate must have strong critical thinking skills, superior attention to detail with sound judgement, highly organized, analytical, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, and have a strong passion for customer service. Core Responsibilities: Develop and implement solutions that reduce risk and compliance while supporting strategic initiatives and objectives, providing an optimal employee experience, and scaling to support future business growth. Investigate pension plans to ensure program operations and administration meet regulatory obligations. Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, Leads and owns end to end remediation, resolution and reporting for plan compliance or employee experience issues. Manage and execute on international retirement/savings related projects, audits and compliance reviews, performing or managing audits, and communicating findings, results, and remediation plans. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develop and execute on corrective action plans to resolve issues, and recommend how to avoid or handle similar situations in the future. Track and monitor new regulations and ensure compliance with international retirement plans. Create and manage project plans to ensure all deadlines are met. Use sound judgment to respond, track and resolve escalations and appeals in a timely manner. Research issues, learn and become adept in Amazon systems and tools to aid in resolving issues. Research and maintain an inventory of country-specific reporting obligations. Track regulatory changes with impacts to international pension programs and policies. Participate in and/or lead local RFI/RFPs with working groups consisting of Amazon internal business stakeholders. Able to travel up to 20%, as necessary.
