Are you looking for the best Graduate Software Test Engineer position based in Cambridge? Look no further My client is an expert in designing High End Audio Broadcast equipment for critical communication. Due to company growth and exciting new projects, they are now looking for a Graduate Software Test Engineer. You will be testing the products from all different stages of development, which includes embedded and GUI/Windows Application testing and testing the Software functionality rigorously. There is no commercial experience needed for this Graduate Software Test Position as long as you have some sort of Interest in writing or testing Software in your own time. You will be trained on the following responsibilities as a Graduate Software Test Engineer: -Validating the product to meet the requirements specification. -Writing and running Test Cases and Test Plans. -Writing automation tests. -Running regression tests to verify functional and system integrity. -Participating in developing testing strategies. -Validating production test procedures. Desirable Skills for the Graduate Software Test Engineer: -Good knowledge and experience of using programming languages (Python, C#/Java) will be advantageous -Experience of writing automation tests will be a bonus -Experience of using audio test tools. -Scripting experience (Bash and Python an advantage). -Ability to use several operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows) You must be degree qualified in ONE the following disciplines: Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering or Mathematics.
