Accountancy Practice - Accountant - Outskirts of Stockport 35 hour working week Free parking Your new firm You will be working in a long established and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants on the outskirts of Stockport. The firm have seen sustained growth in the last year and so are keen to appoint an experienced Accountant to join the team in order to continue to service their clients to the high standards they have come to expect. Your new role As an Accountant at this firm you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation, personal and VAT returns and bookkeeping for a range of clients. The portfolio is made up of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a variety of industries ad with turnovers into the multi million pounds. What you'll need to succeed In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously and be able to prepare statutory accounts relatively autonomously through to Partner review. You must be up to date on the latest legislation in regards to UK tax and be able to communicate in a professional manner with clients. This role will require you to work to deadlines so you must be able to prioritise your work load in an efficient way. What you'll get in return In return this firm are able to offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays), parking on site and a pension. The firm work Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch.
