Assistant Accountant QBE / Part Qualified / Qualified We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands on Assistant Accountant seeking a challenging all-encompassing role delivering financial support to the company's Financial Controller. The salary on offer is 25-28k per annum benefits. The Assistant Accountant Role As an Assistant Accountant you will have a confident and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, good Excel and Sage system knowledge. This is a great opportunity to work with a variety of interesting inter-company accounting tasks and to develop your technical skills in a supportive and friendly environment. The role of the Accountant is to support with month end processing of management accounts enabling the company management team to make sound commercial decisions based on financial information. As an Assistant Accountant your responsibilities will include Overseeing management of sales ledger, purchase ledger and general ledger Regular reconciliation of bank account, including a full monthly reconciliation with details of all reconciling items Expenses management Intercompany reconciliations Bookkeeping duties Support with the preparation of financial reports for head office Responding to HMRC queries and preparing the VAT returns Desired Skills & Experience Qualified By Experience / Studying towards CIMA or ACCA / Qualified Accountant At least 3 years relevant experience Manufacturing industry background is an advantage You will be a confident and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills What we offer to the right Management Accountant Competitive salary Pension Free parking
