Overview
Events Technician Perm position Competitive salary 9am-5pm working hours Based near Kidderminster You’ll be working for one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK, within a fun working environment. We are looking for a Show technician to operate and organise technical aspects of an event or live show. You'll be working with the Production/Project manager to ensure all clients’ requirements are met, providing an excellent level of service. Your duties would include: Supporting the production manager with technical aspects of event and live shows Operate technical equipment in a live environment under pressure Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure projects are carried out accurately Complete relevant events documentation where required / H&S checks Assist, when necessary, Production Managers in the planning of Live event technical requirements Participate in the company's internal technical training programme Assist with asset transportation between venues Ideally you would have: Strong knowledge of technical equipment including, but not limited to, sound consoles, loudspeaker systems,lighting desks, luminaries, rigging, projection and audio visual equipment Competency in using all areas of live technical equipment Able to project manage small projects and work off own initiative Strong agency experience with events exposure You’ll be working with a variety of high-end clients such as Jaguar Landrover.
