Events Production Manager / Technical Production Manager Permanent opportunity Competitive salary 9am-5pm working hours Based just south of Kidderminster You’ll be working for one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK, within a fun and relaxed working environment. We are looking for a Production Manager / Technical Production Manager to manage all technical aspects of our live-events. Your role would be to plan the build and carry out the installation of a live show. You would also ensure all technicalities are working during the event, from build to de-rig. Other duties include: Directing the work of technicians and casual crew on a show by show basis Work with the Managing Director, Head of Production and other Production Managers to advance production Assist in the costing and production of client proposals based on their brief Coordinate Lighting, Sound, Video, Set and Staging, electrical infrastructure, communications and any other technical equipment necessary for events Liaise with licensing, safety and emergency services officials as required. Obtain special permissions where required (pyro’s, lasers, radio mic licenses etc) Act as client liaison when necessary and continue to maintain and build client relationships to a high standard Attend site visits and production meetings as required Ideally you’d be familiar with the above and must-have experience in: Designing and drawing event layouts in both 2D and 3D by using autoCAD or Vector Works AV Equipment Event planning For this position the candidate must hold a current UK driving licence, be able to travel throughout the UK and overseas on the rare occasion.
