Credit Risk Analyst Job Description Keen on crunching numbers and are interested in statistics? We are looking for a candidate to inspire and nurture others in your team and someone who is a highly motivated data genius with great knowledge and experience of data analysis. Accuracy of data and the generation of automatic reports is a huge part of this role, as is interpretation, challenge and development of the credit risk systems and infrastructures. This role is key in helping to grow the 247 Group of companies and support our internal and external customers including stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the development, oversight and management of credit risk systems and infrastructure, with responsibility for challenging the accuracy of the data and supporting the generation of automatic reports. Analysing and processing large volumes of data. Analysis and interpretation of retrospective bureau data. Make recommendations to proactively manage the credit risk of the group. Enabling and advising upon the loss/default assumptions to be used in acquisition or customer management decisions. Creating the risk data structure used for modelling, validation and reporting. Generating automatic risk reports for different committees, using SAS and SQL. Working closely with leaders on the development and roll out of new products, policy standards and services Enabling policy change and development on the basis of sound credit risk analysis and interpretation. Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Using analytics to inform collections prioritisation and recoveries strategy ? Key Skills & Experience: Able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced and dynamic environment with experience in analysing large data sets within a finance environment. Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience for customers. Confident using SQL/SAS. Knowledge of programming techniques to enhance automation in reporting. Have a commercial mind set, understanding of issues involved in running a business and the key financial drivers. Passionate about challenging the norm and challenging thinking.
