Overview

We've got a great new Advanced Nurse Practitioner vacancy based in the outskirts of Leeds, they are looking for an experienced and autonomous Practitioner to join the team for up to full time hours. There are three sites across Leeds, all within a 5 minute drive of each other. You would be primarily based at one site for ease, although be aware, in times of sickness and holiday you may have to work across sites. Each has parking on site, an excellent administrative, clinical and managerial team that will support your day to day working. The surgery have been marked as 'Good' across the board in their CQC reports and patient reviews are very positive The patient list has around 20,000 on, mostly elderly and young families, as the centres are based in quite affluent areas of Leeds. They have parking for staff available on site, as well as basic local amenities. You'll be expected to work autonomously within the role, although GPs are present for supervision, they are looking for a candidate to work to the level of a GP, seeing pre-booked minor and complex general illnesses and ailments. Some knowledge of injuries would also be required and the ability to prescribe independently is essential, as is General Practice experience. You will not be required to see patients for Chronic Diseases (this is covered by the Nursing team) but one home visit every couple days will be required. (Therefore you must have a clean, valid driving license) They are looking to offer the successful candidate a salary of around £55,000 (FTE), this is negotiable and will be dependent on experience, 6 weeks of annual leave bank holidays on top, NHS pension contributions, study leave, indemnity cover and flexible working pattern. There is the opportunity for further development, training can be facilitated as they are training practice with the mentors in place to offer one to one support.
