Based at our headquarters in Washington, Tyne & Wear, you will be part of a global manufacturing business that exports 95% of its production to mainland Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Typical job roles: Manufacturing Process Operator Production Inspector Assembly Operator Welding & Fabrication Includes: Personal Learning & Thinking Skills English Functional Skills Maths Functional Skills Blended learning including e-Learning and distance learning. Team Working. Regular reviews with employer input (360 degree reviews) Added value training/units that related to the apprenticeship framework Projects (company related) Knowledge, skills and behaviour Mentoring and coaching Rewards: A competitive starting salary for the ?rst year, rising each year subject to performance and annual pay increases. You will bene?t from progressive training and development plus a range of employee bene?ts including a generous 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays, a healthcare cash plan, and pension. Entry requirements: At least 4 GCSEs grade A-C including English, Mathematics, IT and a Science. The hours of work are officially 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday Pay Rate: Starting rate £4.59 per hour; On completion of 5 months employment £5.90 per hour; On completion of 10 months employment £7.00 per hour;
