Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Projects Infrastructure Project Engineer Barlborough, Chesterfield Up to £47,000 Your new role My client is currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Engineer to work in their busy IT Infrastructure Team. You will have extensive experience across the Microsoft Application Stack and working on and delivery various IT projects. Responsibilities This role is 100% project focussed as opposed to BAU support but you will still need a strong technical background. The role will see you working on the full life-cycle of projects and you will be a key part of their planning, delivery and handover into operational IT areas. Projects may include Citrix and VMWare Upgrade, Azure Migrations and Azure based Projects. You will be responsible for delivering high quality solutions to timescales and cost. This will be done in accordance with the groups IT standards, project management processes and methodology, working closely with the delivery lead and technical lead to plan, test and implement projects as prioritised by the Business. Experience needed My client is looking for a candidate that has very strong technical skills and project delivery experience. They would have a track record of experience working with the Microsoft Application Stack and Cisco as well as knowledge of other Infrastructure products and technologies. Possession of a broad technical understanding of IT Infrastructure and a track record of designing and delivering Projects would be a major asset. Skills required Windows Server 2008 - 2016 Citrix Microsoft IIS Active Directory Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 7 and 10 Networking knowledge including supporting and implementing Cisco networking experience, switches, routers, ASA devices Exchange Online, Azure and other Office 365 services.
