Overview

Absolute are currently recruiting an ambitious qualified Accountant to join an entrepreneurial SME business. Reporting to the Directors and overseeing an accounts assistant, this role will be responsible for providing managing the day to day finance function and ensuring accurate and timely management accounts. Duties: Preparation of monthly management accounts VAT returns Stock management and analysis Managing import/export documentation Inter-company reconciliation Cash flow management Budgeting and forecasting Work with external accountants to prepare year-end accounts Improve/implement processes and financial controls Skills: Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE Strong communicator A team player with a hands-on approach Experience using Xero would be beneficial
