Linux Systems Administrator City of London £40,000 - £50,000 per annum benefits Linux | UNIX | Support | Shell | Systems Administration Spring Technology is currently working in partnership with a leading institution to recruit a Linux System Administrator based in the City of London. Within this role you'll support the operation & maintenance of the IT Systems and Services, also assisting end users through support calls. Responsibilities: Day to day administration of the systems and services Monitoring and regular testing of the integrity of the systems and reporting any problems Monitoring the job schedulers and job queues First line support for users Provide input into design, systems integration and implementation activities, including: Data throughput and workflows Networking and file management systems High volume, high performance storage and data management strategies and systems To help within defined Service Level Agreements Problem Management Monitoring of a service availability, performance and health Requirements: Experience of Unix / Linux Servers Highly experienced in a command line and shell environment Supporting users in a technical/research environment Experience of computer problem resolution procedures and techniques Sound interesting?
