Do you want to work with Golang on a highly scaleable, concurrent system? Are you keen to work with full automated CI/CD pipelines utilising Jenkins, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes, learning all of these technologies in-depth and taking ownership over your own deployments? We are looking to add 3 Full Stack Golang Developers to our office in White City, where you'll be working in a small, cross-functional team to own features from inception to delivery. Whilst you'll be working with Go, we don't expect you to have that experience just yet. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic developers from any OO background who have some experience or good theoretical knowledge of concurrent programming and the challenges it brings. We are happy to speak to developers from a wide range of languages; Java, C#, Python, Node, Golang. In fact, our current Engineers all learnt Golang whilst working This is a Full Stack Golang Developer position, so we expect to see some familiarity with a frontend framework however we are more than happy to speak to people with non-commercial experience using React, Angular or Vue as long as you understand how modern frameworks operate and the benefits they bring. As mentioned you'll be working as a Full Stack Golang Developer in a cross-functional team on a very unique FinTech product. This will include everything from integrating and building new API's, building brand new features, testing your work using a wide range of tools, and taking ownership over the deployment of your work. This means there's so much for you to learn including React/React Native, Golang, TypeScript, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS including Kinesis and Aurora There's a lot of learning to be done here, but there are some key skills we like to see in our developers: Strong OO background Comfortable working in a nix environment Good understanding of clean code, design patterns and overall best practice development techniques A very strong theoretical knowledge of concurrency, or recent work where you've implemented it. Experience at least integrating RESTful API's, building them is a bonus Experience testing your own code - we aren't fussed about your approach, just that you understand when testing is required General curiosity - we find the best developers to have joined our team were naturally curious, challenging the norm, learning new things and always trying to further themselves. This opportunity doesn't come around very often for a Full Stack Golang Developer, being able to learn so much whilst working on a complex, interesting and brand new technology. We are looking for at least 3 new developers to join our team, so apply now and tell your friends to, too If you want to have an informal chat about this Full Stack Golang Developer position, feel free to get in touch with me: __________________________ Talent Point is a Hiring Communications business, working as sole hiring partners with our customers.
