Overview
Overview: We are recruiting for an INTERIM SENIOR LEGAL ADVISER - CAPITAL PROJECTS on behalf of our client, an International Chemical Manufacturer based in the City of London. This is a full time role with an initial 6 month contract duration - possibility of extension. This role would suit a Senior Lawyer with strong experience with English law construction contracts and CapEx related procurement. Duties: Working alongside to Procurement and Capital Projects Team to provide and review tender documents Development of appropriate tender packs and guidance notes for various projects/procurement categories Preparation of guidance notes/playbooks (for business and legal) on use of key standard forms Drafting, preparing and negotiating agreements using standard industry forms (JCT, IChemE etc.) Project meeting attendance (as required) Will require occasional site visits outside of London Collaborating with the broader legal department to support business functions Ideal Candidate: Will have at least 7 years PQE Experience working within a multinational corporation Exposure to English law construction contracts: JCT, IChemE Exposure to Capital projects/CapEx procurement Strong drafting skills and experience preparing & negotiating agreements Current UK practising license Guidant is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
