Overview

Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager in the Regulatory Reporting division of a well-respected, instantly recognisable financial services company in Hove. The appeal of this role is that it combines a responsibility for producing and reviewing the Quarterly Regulatory Reports (Pillar 3) with a large element finance project work, with an initial focus being upon on a balance sheet segmentation project. Other key responsibilities include - Input and oversight to the Quarterly Segmental Balance Sheet production and IFRS 5 Mature Savings reporting disclosures, ensuring appropriate review and approval Manage aspects of regulatory and capital reporting, including liaison with external auditors. Assist in the proactive development and delivery of internal and external Solvency II and capital metrics/ reports and commentaries. Project Work includes - Understand the IFRS metrics/reports that support the regulatory returns; ensuring structure and business changes are correctly reflected in all regulatory returns. Continually review and challenge processes to establish efficiencies whilst maintaining control and quality. Participate in system and process reviews with regard to reducing reporting timescales in line with ongoing Pillar 3 timeline reductions. Qualifications required Qualified Accountant from a recognised accountancy body. Previous Solvency II reporting experience an advantage. Good understanding of existing IFRS requirements and ability to analyse and interpret other reporting frameworks. Regulatory Reporting Change and Project Management experience
