Overview
The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for a 12 months FTC, for a global media business based in Central London. Role Responsibilities · Assist the Head Office Team with the completion of monthly reporting for Head Office companies (UK - 4, China - 1 and the Netherlands - 5) · Preparation of the monthly recharges to the 22 BUs and US Parent including loan principal and interest balances · Involved in the intercompany month end process of agreeing balance with BUs and US · Working with UK AP Team to ensure timely processing and payment of invoicing · Assist with the Head Office intercompany transactions and reconciliations including review of bi-monthly payment runs · Management of Head Office bank accounts and balances including recording of entries in GL and subledgers · Assist with the monthly reconciliation process for Head Office including review of reconciliation performed by Accounts Assistant · Assist with monthly Corporate Costs analysis and reporting to the US Team · Collaboration with Group functions including Procurement, HR, Tax, Legal, Treasury and FP&A · Assisting the Head Office Senior Accountant with drafting annual budgets and monthly forecasts · Assist with the external audit of the Head Office Companies including providing requested audit documentation · Leading the monthly income statement and balance sheet analytical review for Head Office companies · Completion of SOX key controls in Group Head Office Team on a monthly and periodic basis · Providing ad-hoc support to the Head Office Senior Accountant for projects and other adhoc requests PERSON SPECIFICATION 1. Education & Qualifications Essential requirements An experienced Corporate Accountant with 5 years. 2. Experience & Knowledge Essential requirements Proven experience in a Head Office function and working/developing within an international corporate environment Experience working with Microsoft AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 Experience using IBM's Cognos Controller Experience in budgeting and forecasting for Head Office companies Advanced Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation Desirable Exposure to US GAAP would be a benefit Experience in a multinational ideally with a US listing
