As a BIM/CAD modeler, you will be carrying out drawings and modelling for our Hilti products for various applications. This means that we get involved with a wide range of projects from schools, hospitals, office building to Rail projects, Datacentres, Pharmaceutical to Nuclear Power stations across our Northern European Region (UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) As Hilti is a global company, in this role you will truly work with a global team to provide our customers with the best service. You will be working together with the engineers in our Head office, the region and our colleagues in Rotterdam on our BIM projects. As the BIM/CAD modeler for the region, you will also work towards continuous improvement to provide our customers with the best experience. What does the role involve? Key Responsibilities: Assess the input data that we receive to ensure we have all the relevant required data Produce CAD drawings and reports for all projects with CAD requirements, including for building services installation systems and firestop solutions to support the engineering and sales teams in the specification and sales of our products Perform our modelling services based on the Hilti guidelines Collaborate with other Modelers in case of simultaneous modelling in common environment Support the professional delivery of these Services, the role must show compliance with and where possible, improvement in the associated internal processes Professionally record full hours spent on the project and ensure on time delivery of the project Assist Northern European teams with any questions related to drawing and modelling services Key driver to the growth of the Installation product sales through effective execution of the relevant engineering services What do we offer? What you need is: Knowledge and experience of 3D modeling in Revit in terms of cost, schedule and details Knowledge and experience of coordination software Navisworks Able to perform analysis and simulation on the basis of a BIM model Knowledge of / qualification in structural design (preferred) Willing to travel in GB, Ireland and Northern Europe as necessary
