Brewster Partners have an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources Manager to join our client based in Derby. Our client has an outstanding reputation in the market and their employees are at the heart of everything they do. The Job They are looking for an experienced HR professional who will be an operational and strategic partner to the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business that is constantly changing and evolving. As the HR Manager, you will play an integral position within the company. Proactively support and advise across the full spectrum of employee relations and employment law, including grievance, discipline and dismissal Provide confidential advice, support and guidance to employees and managers. Influence managers to ensure that the HR processes are embedded across the business. Embed the values into the organisational culture, identifying key areas of focus for cultural development Develop and implement an effective strategy for staff recruitment Create and implement staff engagement surveys; develop ideas and action plans to increase staff engagement About you My client is looking for someone who has an innate drive to make a difference to the business Proven experience in a generalist HR role CIPD qualified is preferred Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations Experience in developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies.
