ABOUT THE ROLE A Golden Hello is just one of the ways we’ll reward you when you join Barchester in this role. As a Clinical Development Nurse at a Barchester care home, you’ll review the performance of every home in your region to make sure they’re providing the quality clinical care we’re known for. We’ll look to you to carry out monthly reviews of the clinical governance database and our KPIs. You’ll analyse the results and work with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home to develop strategies and implement actions to improve our standards. Whether you’re organising new training, helping attract senior staff, or delivering clinical investigations, you’ll be making a real difference to the residents we care for – and be truly valued and respected for what you do. ABOUT YOU To join us as a Clinical Development Nurse, you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Experience in a care home environment as a clinical mentor who has supported newly-qualified nurses is important, as is a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements. We’ll also look for a sharp analytical mind and the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on your action plans. Dedicated and ambitious, you’ll be determined to improve the standard of our clinical care.
