Overview

Service care solutions are looking for Childrens MASH OFFICER at senior level to join the Team on Part Time basis (22hours) Based at Luton Police Station The MASH deal with contacts and referrals sent by members of the public and professionals to Children's Services for a safeguarding response. Where the MASH team consider that the child's welfare will be better met by early help services, they will ensure referrals get to the most appropriate teams and will inform professional referrers the outcome of their request for a safeguarding assessment Principal Responsibilities: •Under the direction of the Team Manager, using professional skills and experience to provide practice management to team members to ensure compliance with national and departmental policies, procedures and quality standards. •Undertake research, training and development activities as required for the department and for the post holders' own professional development. • Chair meetings including child protection strategy meetings when required. What you need to apply? •HCPC Qualification / Relevant Training Qualifications •Experienced in Referrals and Assessment and initial intake •Strong report writing skills •Knowledgeable understanding around safeguarding •Knowledge around Legislations Role - Senior Mash Officer Pay - £32ph Hours - 22 per week Location - Luton Police Station Contract - 1 year Start date - ASAP How to apply?
