Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to join a client in East Sussex. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of highway and surfacing schemes as well as site supervision, scheme sign off, preparing asset management plans and contractor liaison. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £25 - £30 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available. Working within the Highways team your main duties include: - Designing and delivering a range of highway maintenance and surfacing projects - Carrying out feasibility studies and pre-site investigations - Preparing asset management and maintenance programmes of work plans - Overseeing work carried out by the contractor as well as scheme sign off and supervision Previous experience in Highways and Transportation is essential for this role.
