Social Worker Locum roles in Adults community team Your new company A local authority are looking to increase the headcount in one of their teams with the addition of exciting Social work opportunities. Growth in high quality social workers is required to even further excel in the quality of service, ultimately creating manageable caseloads for each individual social worker. Your new role You will be working in an Adults social work team who mainly deal with long term work and is split into locality teams across the area which the authority covers. Work will include visits, assessments and care plans so previous social work experience will be necessary. What you'll need to succeed You will require a Social Work qualification (BA/BSc/MA/MSc Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you be registered with the Social Work England. Experience must have been gained post qualifying (ASYE) which is sufficient in order to settle quickly into this position and add value to the local authority. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive rate of between £30 and £32 per hour and also a stable locum contract of 3 months initially with the opportunity to extend.
