As part of our continued growth, we have a requirement for an implementation Specialist based at our newly opened Glasgow City Centre Office. The role might suit an experienced technical project manager or consultant. We run and maintain the Scottish Government’s supply chain software service which automates the processing of purchase orders through to the payment of invoices covering £6bn per annum of Scottish Government spend. We also provides eProcurement, eInventory, eHealth and eFunding solutions for clients around the world. What You'll be Doing : Plan and conduct activities in order to execute high quality customer-oriented project management for the implementation of Elcom solutions, which includes new customer projects or expansion of solutions to existing customers Facilitate data gathering workshops and other exercises for implementation projects Perform data set up and configuration tasks in support of implementation projects and implementation changes Facilitate activities to support customer acceptance testing on implementation projects and for application upgrades Prepare and deliver training on Elcom products for administrators and end users Participate in quality assurance, training and implementation impact assessment activities for new product releases Coordinate estimates for Service Requests, update and provide responses to Service Requests, coordinate and manage delivery of Service Requests Preparation and participation in demonstrations, requirements planning, system integration and other implementation consultation services Monthly or other report preparation in support of customer contracts Provide assistance for more complex configuration related Customer Service tickets, and backup coverage for Customer Service activities as needed Manage assigned Help Desk tickets and associated customer and supplier communications through to completion and within service level agreements Troubleshoot and provide advice or corrective action for assigned Help Desk tickets The right resource for this role will need to be a motivated self-starter, and have the ability to plan and direct activities under limited to moderate management supervision The position requires the ability to learn and acquire expertise on the many applications and solutions offered by the business – often requiring self-training and teaching The position requires an understanding of process engineering as implementation projects and many of the incidents and requests raised by customers require a review of business processes About You: Higher education degree ideally 2-5 years of experience in a similar position Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong administrative, organisation and computer skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks A team orientation Strong presentation skills Aptitude to record, report and coordinate the resolution of technical issues Plan and direct activities, under moderate management supervision DB, xml and SQL knowledge would be advantageous Willingness to travel Benefits: Competitive Salary Opportunity for career progression Contributory pension scheme Flexible working with home-based working Interested?
