Overview
Financial Controller (18 month fixed term contract) Competitive package (dependent on experience) Beaconsfield / Windsor We are currently looking for an assured Finance Manager / Financial controller to manage a team of 8. You will be responsible for managing the financial and management accounting process for a division between £200m-£400m million in size. This opportunity will provide the incumbent to join the business in a hugely exciting time with extensive systems, process improvement and change currently taking place. You will have a broad range of responsibilities; Manage a team of 8 finance professionals - A mix of part qualified and qualified accountants Timely production of accurate insightful monthly management accounts Review and challenge financials from regional finance and project teams. Production and review of full balance sheet reconciliation and identify potential risks/opportunities Ensure financial processes/controls are adhered to and to identify improvements in processes and systems as appropriate Manage the delivery of and review VAT returns, PSA and other tax returns Development of management of accounting systems Manage the interim and year-end audit process We're looking for: Experience in a similar role in a sizable organisation Strong people management skills Advanced Excel skills Ability to hit the ground running
