Great 1st move for an ACA incorp. month-end management accounting, cash-flow as well as core statutory reporting. Looking for an ACA Newly/Recently Qual from mid-tier or if big 6 need to have prepared statutory accounts. Great career progression and exposure across the business. Key accountabilities: ·Preparation of all UK local statutory accounts, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of accounts in accordance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) with support from the FM. ·Collation of month-end management accounts pack (full P&L/bal sheet) for programming assets, liabilities and amortisation. ·Working with the Management Accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and ensure reporting deadlines are met. ·Ensure strong internal control environment identifying weaknesses in current controls and recommending and assisting implementation of new and improved controls. ·Regular cash flow forecasting, monthly bank reconciliations and weekly bank reporting for UK entities/Group. ·Key point of contact for external auditors and follow up queries as necessary ·Internal testing of all current SOX controls as required by Internal Audit ·Support development of current internal processes and controls to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with corporate governance ·Monthly preparation and analysis of the Programme Asset & Programme Liability position for the UK Group ·Ad hoc analysis for the senior finance team as requested Required Experience: •Qualified Accountant ACA /ACCA •Proven experience in preparing statutory accounts in practice or commerce •Strong Excel skills •Proactive with hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met
