Overview
We Care Recruitment are looking for a number of Health Care Assistants, preferably with a minimum of 6 months experience with working with complex health care to join our bank staff to work on an ad hoc basis in and around the Newcastle and Gateshead area in local Hospitals. This will be to support and care for people with a range of disabilities and life limiting illness and may include interventions such as peg, suction and cough assist as examples. This role will involve moving & handling and personal care tasks and may include administration of medication. Shifts can be days or nights. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of NVQ2 in health and social care and preferably a relevant certification for administration of medication.
