Overview
Growing retail business based in the Manchester area is recruiting an experienced and qualified Financial Controller. Reporting to the MD, you will oversee a small team producing month end and year end management accounts, year end statutory accounts, quarterly VAT submissions, maintaining integrity of the balance sheet. This is a hands on role with the opportunity to really develop the team and look for ways to improve on process and controls. You will be required to attend management meetings for your hub which may require occasional travel. Applicants should have experience at Financial Controller level gained in a plc environment and have strong leadership and technical skills. In return the company can offer a generous salary, including flexi time and working from home. Please also note that this role does require some travelling.
