We have several exciting apprenticeships available for the right candidates who are ambitious, dedicated and keen to kick-start their career in Customer Services.The primary function of these roles is to provide excellent levels of administration support to the wider team. Due to continued growth we are currently hiring a Legal Administrator to join our Residential Conveyancing team providing support to fee earners. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly established team of specialists. Here at Slater and Gordon we proactively identify opportunities within our employee population that can benefit from education provided through an Apprenticeship whilst also offering an increase in skill and experience in their role. This role has been identified as an opportunity to offer a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration provided with CILEx. We are looking for people who are highly motivated to learn and have a positive, can-do approach. You will have plenty of support throughout your apprenticeship from your mentor and supervisor as well as nominated learning provider. Responsibilities to include: Providing general day-to-day administration Updating information on the Case Management system Bundling and indexing legal documents Producing standard documentation Filing, scanning and photocopying Sorting and distributing post Taking and logging new enquiries Opening and maintaining client files Diary management Legal Research Ad-hoc administrative duties as required About You: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: It is highly desirable that applicants have a genuine interest in the legal sector Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal A willingness to learn and must be a quick learner Excellent time management and organisational skills The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Good attention to detail Someone who can use their initiative and thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment The successful candidate will need to be conscientious, punctual, committed and demonstrate a positive attitude What we offer in return: In return we offer a competitive salary with market leading benefits, a positive and inviting work environment, exposure to industry specialists and the fantastic opportunity to develop a rewarding and successful career with an award-winning law firm.
