Overview

Evolok is a leading cloud SAAS provider specialising in Content monetisation and Identity management. Working mainly within the Media and Publishing Industries. Evolok has successfully provided the best breed enabling technology to deliver online business strategies. These include paywall, Datawall and user engagement. We are now looking for a talented Business/Data Analyst to join the team and work with the new and existing clients to analyse data and provide guidance on best practices and strategy as well as working with internal teams on client projects or product development. The ideal candidate will either act on their own as a consultant or as part of a delivery team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following : Capture/determine, analyse and define business needs of client stakeholders Capture/determine, analyse and define high-level requirements (functional and technical) for product enhancements Immersing themselves within client implementations and results and provide ongoing strategic guidance on best practices and delivery. Conduct feasibility studies, demonstrations, workshops, training and acceptance testing Produce documentation to support all of the above Support delivery team in the production of a solution as an acting Functional Lead Essential Experience/Skills: Proven commercial experience within IT (ideally within Professional Services or Vendor environment) Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of end-end Agile (Scrum) Proven experience of working on user-facing web technology solutions Proven experience of working within a delivery team Proven exceptional analytical and definition ability covering business needs, high-level requirements, detailed functional requirements Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills- able to concisely, accurately and professionally interact with all levels of clients and partners business Proven experience of creating high-quality written documentation inc. diagrams for internal and external consumption Proven experience of creating high-quality documentation using UML (esp Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams) and/or User Stories for use by technical teams and as input into Agile methodology Excellent MS Office (or equivalent) skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visi Desirable Experience/Skills: Experience within SME or Start-up organisation Previous experience as Product Owner (poss. PO by proxy) within Scrum Previous experience of acting as a consultant or embedded resource Previous experience of working with complex web technology solutions requiring many solutions to interact with each other in real-time with many different user types and user states Previous experience with on-site and off-site delivery teams and personnel Previous experience of process definition and analysis Experience within Media and Publishing industries Experience with JIRA and Confluence Experience with UI prototyping tools (Balsamiq, Azure) Knowledge of databases and data modelling tools and techniques inc.
