Overview
The Company: Our client is an IT consultancy based in North Somerset who offer a first-class service to their clients in both planning and supporting their IT solutions. Their service covers helpdesk, proactive monitoring, strategic reviews, training, cyber security and much, much more. They are proud to work with their clients on a one to one basis to ensure that their clients have an individual service that suits their business needs both for today and their future plans. The Job: Due to expansion, they are seeking a Customer Support Co-ordinator for their IT consultancy. It’s not essential you are an IT whizz, but it is essential you are passionate about customer service and client care. This role will be the first point of contact for calls and requests coming into the business and your role will be to taking those calls, and log their support needs and then allocate it to the team within agreed timescales. You will also be responsible for ensuring that client expectations are met and updating clients if the IT team need further time to investigate their technical issue. Longer term, you may then also undertake some first line / basic IT fixes with clients, as your skills and knowledge grows. This role is ensuring that customers expectations are not only met but exceeded and you have a true passion for providing a service any business would be proud of. They have a system which updates the teams regarding jobs and support required and your role will be to log these enquiries in the first instance, on top of that it’s going to be great if you are able to support the IT Technical team with helping them get back to clients should issues need to be escalated and chasing any requests for help up too. The Person: For this role, it’s essential you love dealing with people and have a great telephone manner and can do attitude. This is working in a busy, friendly and growing team and they pride themselves on not only their IT expertise but the quality of service they given their clients. It would be great if you have some IT knowledge but even better if you delight to giving amazing customer service.
