Plastic Extrusion Machinist - £9.25 per hour (c£20,200) - Cradley Health or Halesowen - Alternating shifts - Temporary-to-permanent role Hours: Alternating shifts 4 on 4 off or similar - alternating Days and Nights (12 hour shifts) Permanent contract Location: Cradley Heath or Halesowen Encore Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are based in Halesowen. Due to sustained growth they are now on the lookout for their next recruit Benefits: Plastic Extrusion Machinist Starting pay rate of £9.25ph Temporary-to- permanent contract after 13 weeks Alternating shifts 4 on 4 off or similar - alternating Days and Nights 30am - 6.30pm | 6.30pm - 6.30am Overtime available The Role: Plastic Extrusion Machinist To set and operate all extruders to meet customer specifications. To ensure the smooth running of the production process. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications. Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders. Roles and responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Plastic Extrusion Machinist Plastics or Blown film or Technical machinery experience required Do end of shift paper work and carry out stock check when required Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance and general issues. Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. To ensure early reporting of problems or issues with machines prior to breakdowns. To ensure immediate reporting of breakdowns. To Liaise and communicate effectively with the Maintenance Department. To have an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth of the company.
