Extrusion Operator

Our prestigious client is currently seeking to employ 3 x Extrusion Operators on a Temporary to permanent contract to join a growing firm in Cradley Heath. Hours are days and nights rotating. Check and understand works order for set up details Log and summarise all QA checks Help train lower Job Bands / new starters. Follow correct packing procedure / label information Carry out a manual Pulling & Burst test on seals. Thread up production lines including downstream equipment. Can demonstrate ability to put up 3 different extruders from cold start to qualified production Clean top of die Change filter screen on 3 different extruders. Operate FAS machines. Change material and set up Maquire blender. Clean hopper filters Blow Bubble up back to size. Change teflons on FAS bag machine and spinner. Completes Maintenance works orders when requested. Comply with generic factors including absenteeism, timekeeping, housekeeping, performance, quality, team working, overtime availability, multi-site availability, clean as you go, safety including knives, suggest improvements. Comply with Company Handbook. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management / supervision to meet the needs of the business.
