We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Child Protection Team within Wiltshire County Council . The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. Wiltshire pay close attention to looking after their Social Workers and strive to ensure they feel supported and welcomed in their roles. The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes: Initial Assessments and Core Assessments LAC Reviews Giving Evidence Managing a varied caseload Court Reports Section 47's You'll be playing an essential role in the lives of children and young people right across the county. From assessments and planning to delivery and review, you'll make sure young people in Wiltshire are safeguarded and protected - promoting positive outcomes for their futures. The ideal candidate will have: HCPC registration Eligibility to work in the UK Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA) Working with Ackerman Pierce you will be guaranteed weekly payment and access to continued profession development, including a dedicated consultant to support you through the interview and on boarding process. The position offers a long contract within a stable supportive team with a great location and excellent transport links as well as being close to central London.
