Overview

The UKIME facilities management (FM) business provides total FM solutions throughout the UK to a diverse customer base and employs c30,000 people. Annual Revenue total c£500m with a targeted EBITA of 5%. The Region is divided into 6 key sectors of which Aviation & Gateways (A&G) accounts for approximately £60m of revenue. The Finance Business Analyst will assist the Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) to produce timely and accurate sector based monthly management reports and accounts and all necessary regional reports for the sector. Working closely with the management team, to aid the understanding of the financial position of the sector's variances and trends. The A&G sector Finance team is also supported by UKIME Shared Services & the Central finance team who provide transactional, financial accounting and FP&A support to the individual Sectors. Responsibilities will include: Supporting the SFBP in the production of timely and accurate Sector based monthly Management Reports and Accounts and all necessary Regional reports for the sector Producing reports to aid the understanding of the financial position of the Sector's variances and trends, including Flash reporting Reporting key performance indicators and variance analysis to provide a clear understanding of the drivers of growth to inform and develop both short-term performance and the strategic direction of the Sector Supporting the SFBP in specific cost management initiatives Providing Balance Sheet analysis across the Sector Producing reports to enable Operational and Finance teams to improve working capital performance, including debt control Working with the team to ensure compliance across the portfolio, including Purchase Order tracking and un-invoiced revenue reduction Assisting in preparing strategic plans, budgets, forecasts and variance reports for the Sector ensuring that both Regional and Group deadlines are adhered to Adoption of rigorous financial control of the Sector, including accuracy of management accounts, dealing with internal and external audit issues and Sector compliance with Group and Regional Policy and Procedures Experience required: Education/Qualifications Ideally a Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT with experience working in Finance Excellent MS Office skills SAP system experience Working experience/Personal attributes Strong experience of preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Management Accounts Experience of budgeting and forecasting Experience of Facilities Management industry or similar would be an advantage Commercial acumen, with an ability to interpret and challenge numbers and communicate key issues in a concise and clear manner Excellent organisation and presentation skills Possessing a high level of attention to detail, but commercially focused Excellent communications skills and customer service orientation Ability to manage pressure and meet multiple deadlines Why join OCS Group UK Ltd?
