Overview

We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a busy IT Service Desk environment to join our client’s team. The Organisation: A leading global security company with a strong presence in Europe and the US, who work on a number of exciting projects across the UK, working in London primarily in the cyber security sector. This role will be aligned with the defence, security and intelligence sector; so successful applicants much be able to gain UK security clearance ( https://www.gov.uk/guidance/security-vetting-and-clearance ). The Role: Performing System Administration tasks Routinely monitoring the system using the software/hardware provided Responding appropriately to errors Providing assistance and initial information to callers Ensuring that Incidents and Service Requests requiring further help are escalated Any other duties required Your skills & experience: Unix Linux Microsoft Windows Oracle databases SQL NetBackup Shift Pattern: 4 day shifts 07:30 to 20:00 hours, 4 days off, then 4 late shifts 13:00 to 01:30 hours This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89774399
