Overview
You can positively change someone's life Newcross Healthcare is seeking professional Care Assistants to care for children with complex care needs living in Norwich, Long Stratton, Thorpe St. Andrew, Poringland, Wroxham, Brundall and the surrounding areas. In this role, you'll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative team, delivering care in the home. Without support from people like you, these individuals may live a life in specialist units or hospitals, rather than in their own home. Additional opportunities are available for applicants with prior paediatric experience with NG feeding and medication via NG tube to cover nights 3 to 4 times per week. You'll follow each individual's care plan, playing a key role in supporting them with daily tasks like eating, personal care, clinical needs, social activities and any additional services needed. You'll receive specialist training, tailored to the package of care you're assigned to. About you With experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. We also expect you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
