Overview

Victim Support is looking for a Coordinator for our Children and Young People's service called Nest based in either Accrington, Preston, Blackpool or Lancaster Office. Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve. In Lancashire we operate under the banner of Lancashire Victim Services which is commissioned to support all victims of crime across the county. This includes a specilalist service for Children and Young People called Nest https://nestlancashire.org/ We are looking for someone with the passion, skills and experience to lead and develop our CYP service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with children and young people; will be experienced in managing a team providing casework support to vulnerable young people and will have the ability to identify and drive improvements in the service and support we provide. You will be working across the whole of Lancashire, based in one of our offices in either Accrington, Preston, Blackpool or Lancaster. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholdhers so will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with CYP and adults at all levels. Hours of work are 37.5 Monday to Friday, primarily between 9am - 6pm (on a rota) but there may be a requirement to work outside of these hours subject to client need.
