Position: Support Worker Location: Gazeley Job type: Permanent (guaranteed hours), up to 39 hours per week - this role is shift work Hours: Full time, part time and relief hours available (sleep ins included) Salary: £9.50 per hour Due to the location of this role, it is essential you have a driving license. About the role: The role of a Support Worker is to ensure the people they work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives. You will be working in a bespoke service that offers support to individuals with a learning disability that would usually live at home with their families. Supporting someone with Learning Disabilities isn't just personal care; it's so much more. A Support Worker could be taking the people supported swimming, assisting with the weekly shop, or even helping to administer the right medication. The role of role Support Worker is incredibly varied, you will be supporting people with all aspects of daily living and no two days are the same. About You: To be considered for this Support Worker opportunity you don't need to have experience of working in supported living. We are looking for caring and kind individuals who are looking to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding. You have to be kind, flexible have a pro-active attitude and good communication skills. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
