You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a salary of £16,276 to £16,950 per annum. Perthyn is a large not-for-profit charity who provide support to people with learning disabilities in England and Wales. We deliver person-centred services, encouraging individuals to live as independently as possible within their home and community. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team, which will help Perthyn further establish itself within Swansea. In this role, you will support individuals to maintain their tenancy and develop skills in all aspects of daily living including cooking, cleaning and shopping. You will also help people to engage in social, leisure and educational opportunities in the community, which could include activities such as swimming, bowling, and attending college. Skills and experience required of our Support Worker: Your manager will support you to develop your practice, gain understanding of each individual you work with, and deliver person centered support within a Positive Behavior Support framework.
