Salary Minimum 21,170 - 25,350 Number of jobs available 1 Detail of reserve list 12 Months Region Wales City/Town Swansea Building/Site Independent Monitoring Authority (IMA), Swansea Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road, Swansea, SA1 3SN Grade EO Organisation Grade for MoJ D Post Type Permanent Working Pattern Full Time, Part Time/Job Share, Flexible Working Role Type Administration / Corporate Support Job description About the IMA The role of the IMA is to monitor the UK's implementation and application of the agreements it has made with the EU, and the 'EEA EFTA' states, to guarantee the rights of their citizens living in the UK, and if legislated for in Gibraltar, at the end of the transition period. Establishing the IMA will fulfil a central and crucial commitment that the Government has made in those international agreements. Further information can be found at Purpose of the Role As People Support Officer you will support the Head of People Management to embed and manage effective people processes, including resourcing and talent management, HR policy and engagement. You will ensure the delivery of an efficient HR service through building strong relationships across the organisation and supporting core people processes. You will work in partnership with our shared services provider to ensure IMA staff are able to access shared services systems and services. This will include engagement with Ministry of Justice HR Business Partners on relevant polices and where appropriate and agreed with IMA management, ensuring they are implemented and maintained within the IMA HR service. You should have a strong personal commitment to creating an inclusive working environment and understand the principles of diversity and inclusion. Key Responsibilities * Support the Head of People Management with the delivery of core people processes; * Support IMA staff to help access the HR self-service systems and services from third-party suppliers such as occupational health, pensions, employee assistance etc.; Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and processes by considering where improvements can be made; * Build strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders, ensuring support is available to handle difficult or complex queries. Essential skills Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines to meet the needs of the customer and the business; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications appropriately to the audience; Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build supportive and professional relationships.
